Services
Neuropsychological assessment identifies strengths and challenges in learning and thinking, leading to a better understanding of emotions/behavior and appropriate recommendations. Evaluation includes comprehensive assessment of many aspects of brain functioning including language, memory, attention/executive functioning, reasoning, social cognition, personality and visual motor skills.
Assessment of academic skills in some or all the following areas: early reading/literacy skills, reading (decoding, comprehension, fluency), math problem solving and computation, and written language. Academic testing helps us to understand whether a child/teen may have a learning disability or other condition that is impacting academic performance.
Additional support and recommendations for family and youth beyond assessment process and feedback. Consultation may involve review of any school or outside evaluations, support to advocate with school/agencies, or general brainstorming needs/supports for child/teen. School visits are also available as part of a comprehensive evaluation.
